Rubicon travelled to Aberdeen last week to take part in All-Energy 2013, the largest renewable event in the UK. The two-days were a great success and we had a lot of visitors to our Stand (K18). During the event we decided to run a competition to give away a bottle of Midleton Very Rare Whiskey. Colm and Damian were armed with a replica Bronze Age spear, based on an example excavated in Co. Kildare. The original spearhead had been discovered in association with an adult male cremation, which had been radiocarbon dated. To win the whiskey entrants had to guess how old they thought it might be. Having totted up all the guesses we are delighted to announce that the winner was David McDonald of Eco2 Ltd. Congratulations to David, who will shortly be enjoying some of the finest whiskey on the planet!
