A Rubiconer Abroad- Speaking Engagements in Tennessee

Rubicon’s Damian Shiels is heading Stateside next week to deliver a keynote address at the 150th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee. Aside from speaking on the Irish role in the American Civil War on 14th November, he is also getting an opportunity to chat about some archaeology, with a talk about Irish Conflict Archaeology to students of the Middle Tennessee State University Center for Historic Preservation on 13th November. Damian was interviewed by historynet in advance of his trip to the US- you can read it here. It promises to be an exciting few days!
