Launch of Monograph on Archaeological Investigations on the M6 Motorway

Last week we attended the launch of the latest National Roads Authority Monograph, entitled The Quiet Landscape: Archaeological Investigations on the M6 Galway to Ballinasloe National Road Scheme. Rubicon were one of the archaeological contractors who excavated sites along the route, and as such we have a number of chapters and contributions in the volume. Included among them are sites such as the Early Medieval Cemetery Settlement of Carrowkeel and the fascinating vernacular dwelling at Moyode. We are delighted to have contributed to the successful publication of another archaeological monograph on one of Ireland’s major infrastructural projects- we have a number of others coming down the tracks next year, so much dissemination to look forward to! If you are interested in purchasing the monograph you can do so online here.
