Rubicon Heritage Appoint Mark Collard as Company Director

14 January 2016

Archaeological consultancy firm Rubicon Heritage Services Ltd have appointed Mark Collard to their Board as a Company Director with responsibility for the English and Welsh markets. Rubicon are the only archaeological company with staffed offices in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Mark Collard is recognized as one of the leading commercial archaeologists in the UK, with more than 30 years archaeological experience across the private and public sectors. Mark previously spent 10 years in the role of Edinburgh City Archaeologist, before joining Cotswold Archaeology in 1999. For the following 16 years Mark held the position of Head of Contracts, with strategic responsibility for managing commercial contract work and the delivery of large-scale infrastructural projects. In that capacity he played a key-role in Cotswold’s expansion into one of the largest heritage companies in England.
